ABOUT INDIANA INDIA BUSINESS COUNCIL:
Founded by Raju Chinthala, the IIBC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2016 that contributes to strengthening Indiana – India relations by generating economic and social growth.
The IIBC is responsible for bringing several partnerships to life, one that transcends borders and builds relations, creating strong international ties that lead to a vibrant economy. One of the major functions of IIBC is to collaborate with India based companies that want to operate in Indiana, Indiana based companies that want to expand in India, and businesses owned by Indian Americans living in Indiana.
IIBC’s mission is to strengthen ties between Indiana and India as a business advocacy group, bringing together diverse leadership, engaging stakeholders and exploring issues that benefit communities,
businesses and government entities. IIBC serves as a direct liaison between government and business leaders. Indiana is surging ahead. The State is paving the way in bringing together the brightest minds from all over the world while enhancing the lives of those who live here. The Indiana India Business Council plays a pivotal part in this.
ABOUT INDIANA RATNA AWARD:
The “Indiana Ratna” means the Jewel of Indiana. It is the highest award bestowed by Board Members of the Indiana India Business Council to individuals who have contributed significantly towards strengthening
cultural, educational, political, social and economic ties and have helped make a profound impact in both Indiana and India, to show the world how much we value their actions. It will be presented annually during IIBC’s Gala.
